Jack is an exciting roguish bad boy - or at least he tries very hard to be. Really he's more of an antsy obnoxious jackass with sticky fingers and an arsenal of puns. He's all about putting on a show and is always showing a front, to the point that it's hard to get to know him and almost nothing seems to bother him. That stupid grin of his almost never goes away and at times it gets a bit unsettling. He laughs when he's happy, he laughs when he's scared, and while he doesn't get to show them off too much, he's got a sad and angry laugh too.
His need for excitement and inability to think ahead gets him into more than a few dangerous situations. He's gotten pretty good at tucking his tail and running from consequences (and angry bruisers) at breakneck speed. This habit leads to a spuriously nomadic lifestyle. It leaves him chronically penniless and homeless, but at this point he wouldn't really know how to live any other way. He does his best to be sober as little as possible and think even less.
