no idea what the title should be. It's not like I'm teaching anything specific...
I've been asked a few times to make a tutorial and I finally did. (although I'm not sure why ya'll wanna see a tutorial by me since my art ain't that special...)
But anyway here's a tutorial!

Have some more resources to help you artistic journey:
Drawing Ponies
Transparent Backgrounds (or you can export your file as a .tga (TARGA), import it to Gimp and then export it as .png!)
If you want your character to have an outline (like a white outline) just put all your layers in one set (folder thingy) and while holding down the "ctrl" button click on that folder icon. It will select all the layers at once. Then press the increment (1) button a few times, open a new layer under the set and paint it in. (heh, I hope you understood all that ^^")
