Lightner is the second in command of the super hero team Vanguard Ultra.
Ex race car driver, Kelvin Pace one day while taking part in a championship race an energy
that has been dormant in his body for years exploded. Breaking nearly all of his
bones and burning most of his skin tissue. In the ICU his body with the help of this energy
rebuilt itself, also gaining muscle mass and durability capable of surviving the energy within.
Dragon Woman seeing how powerful and dangerous he could be had a suit created to channel his energy.
