Hello,
In this tutorial (or rather guide) I tried to put together some of the things I often say when someone asks, I figured I'd add pictures. It's about general problems we confront with when working with different sizes of stocks - what happens when resizing, what to look for when extracting an object, everything with examples. I also succeeded at painting hair on a tiny touchpad. Yay.

For the purpose of this tutorial, I only butchered my own stock. If there's anything that's not in my gallery and you'd like to see, let me know.

I'd also like to know what I can improve in my tutorials. I'm trying to get better at explaining things, writing shorter clear phrases and making a proper layout. Please comment if you have questions.
