14 DAYS! 14 days I could not finish this art. Phew ... And finally here it is.Yes, I love Raiden. After playing just one game (namely Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance) (uh, okay, actually 80% of the game was played by my boyfriend, because I'm really bad at slashers).
I decided to choose her, because her plot is more detached from the rest of the story. And I liked it! Then I read Raiden's story, about his family and what he had to go through in the past. Very sad. It was these events that made him what he became - Jack the Ripper. Actually, I tried to portray his alter-ego (red lightning - a reference to their animation in the game).
I hope I managed to convey the look that I saw in the game.
In fact, there are many examples of such Jack the Ripper in real life. Many people, experiencing difficult experiences in their childhood, become unstable personalities in the future. Their psyche is undermined, and some of them even embark on a criminal path. But some manage to overcome themselves, accept their past and live on. And that's great.
