Description At last, the final pic I am to release as of this Final Fantasy run of mine.

And of course it has to end with the best of the best. Final Fantasy 7 completely turned the tables of your typical FF game. And while the newer perception of the game was radical for it's time, surely the key elements of the series still remeined to captivate to no end.

Again, the characters where epic and well-writen, each with his or her own compelling backround that made them fit, one way or another, to the whole story (although that's not set in stone for ALL of them, and yes, I am looking at you Yufie! XD). And of course it's villain. Boy, the villain. Easily regarded as the Chuck Norris of video gaming, on all accounts. Sure, he was a mama's boy, in the end, but how many mama's boys you know that have no qualms of shoving their over-the-top sword into your chest...while thinking they are doing good all along? Sephiroth sure is a complex character. Much like his origins and...ugh, his father...

As for the composition of the pic, Tifa and Vincent I can safely say that they stand out on all accords. Vincent, for one. Of all the cast, he was the only one who sort of had direct business with Sephiroth. Not to mention Hojo. Tagging him along would be the only right thing. Of course his battle prowees make him quite balanced to use too. And Tifa... well, I guess that the game speaks of itself on MANY occasions on how good she is to the entire fray. XD

As for the music, this is the only time I use an official remix. Cause it's that awesome. Then again, in the end, every version of One-Winged Angel is pure awesome on any regard.

So, enjoy this last piece of my Final Fantasy pics and give the link a listen. Tis worth it.

This is awesome! Safer Sephiroth (not to mention Cloud, Tifa and Vincent, as well) in SNES pixel form...nice!

Thanks a lot mate. This goes to show that FF7 should REALLY have been made unto the olde style of early FF games. T'would be sweet.

Β

Btw, these sprites are not SNES-styled, cause they are 16-bit. The GBA FF games come more fittingly into mind. Btw, all these sprites, sans Vincent, are official Square Enix material.

Actually, the SNES was 16-bit. The GBA used the same sprites for the most part, when doing their FF game ports.

Apart from that, I love seeing newer games made into older formats, and vice versa. It's an entertaining technical challenge to convert a game to/from different formats.

And another challenge is also keeping the same feelingΒ the format had. A GBA version of FF7 is SO darn needed for the fans. XD

ah, whoops...my bad I completely forgotten about the Game Boy Advance sprites. Otherwise, yeah that would be sweet if there was Final Fantasy VII done GBA styled just like I & II: Dawn of Souls, IV, V, and VI
