Description
It is very late at night and the busses have already stopped driving. There has been a party in the city that you have attended to. The music has been very loud and you can still hear some faint ringing in your ears from it. However, no one really lives your way but not any time the past years since you moved there; nothing has ever happened. Therefor, you decide to walk home besides asking someone to drive you. You are the only one who wanted to leave already anyhow.

So, you walk out of the city, still thinking about how good the night has been. It doesn't take too long until the stream of houses stop and are replaced bu the many trees in the forest, towering on each side of the road.

It would only take about 20 minutes to walk home and it is an open road with lots of street lights. Sure you are nervous... you'd seen all scary movies and in the silence your brain starts playing games with you. Shaking your head you convince yourself you're being silly. Monsters, dinosaurs, aliens; nothing of that exists.

A rustle is heard nearby... you feel your heart freeze to ice as you stop, shaking slightly. "Who's there??" you call out but there's no reply. slowly you look to your left where the sound had come from, but there's nothing there... nothing but a slight mist seeping out between the trunks. You shudder again though as you turn back to continue walking you realize you can't see anything because of the mist.

How did it get there so quickly... you look at your watch and sigh. it seems as if your watch has run out of batteries. You shouldn't be that far away though and it's only a short walk on a road you have travelled many times before.

So you continue walking...

Being very far into the mist you realize the street lights have been turned off and once again you stop. There is no telling where you are at really... what should you do? You lost your cell phone at the party when you lent it out to a friend so you cannot call home. Perhaps you should walk back to the party? Yes, perhaps that would be the best. So, you turn around... and again you feel your heart freeze.

Something white just crossed your path. A cat perhaps? Nothing else was white... unless albino... or a ghost. You take a slightly stumbling step back before you turn... and run.

You don't run very far since you don't see where you are going but as you stop you have not the slightest idea what way anything is. You're really in trouble and you can't see which way to go. Taking a deep breath you try to collect your thoughts and you close your eyes for a second.

when you open them, some of the mist has disappeared, leaving a small visible track to follow. there are no trees in the way so it must be the road. somewhat relieved you start walking again in a slightly quicker pace then before. Now you either want to get home or get back to the city. Besides; it's getting cold... which is weird since it's the middle of summer.

during your trails of thoughts you suddenly takes another halt. A distance ahead of you, a completely white creature is standing, watching you. it looks quite alike a cat but it has white eyes as well. Perhaps the mist is disleading you because the fur of the cat almost seems to flow like smoke behins it.

"Hello kitty" you smile and squint down, holding your hand out, but the cat does not come closer. Instead it takes a leap and continues on the path you were following. As the cat lets out a sort of hollow-sounding meow you get up and follow it, slightly mezmerized by it.

You don't know how long you have been following it, only catching glimpses of the tail every now and then. But it doesn't seem like it's been that long when you suddently stumble out in a clearance... This is something you have not seen before. You squint your eyes to see through the dark but soon widens your eyes slightly in fear when you realize the towering shadows aren't trees but a ruin of a very old church, surrounded with pillars. However as you stand there... nothing what so ever happens and you take a deep breath, calming down again and look around.

Even if it is a bit creepy to stand by such an old ruin that even has grave stones around it, it doesn't have your attention...

straight ahead of you the ground seems to be glowing; like if a thousand small fireflies were sitting on it. It almost looks like a night sky. amongst these glowing dots you can tell there's a structure of stones looking like some sort of circles. As you keep looking you realize the rocks are starting to glow slightly in a circle shape before it increases... and it looks like some sort of alchemic sign.

Yo must be dreaming but it is an interesting dream so you calm down with a slight frown then blink as the circle starts glowing again, and a shine emerges upwards...
