I can be very tolerant of Yaoi and Yuri, even though I'm not a fan of either but I draw the line at anything that involves pairing up brothers and sisters and twins and parents to their children.Yaoi Yuri (Gay pairings) don't get under my skin as much as incest.
I mean why do people pair up siblings (not cousins, imediate familty) anyway? It's just gross. I mean they like came form the same parent. Plus it's illegal. It bothers me a lot, especially when they pair up kids with their PARENTS! (Namely Lloyd and his biological father Kratos from Tales of Symphonia WTF?!) don't these people have anything better to do? I'd rather them making gay pairing with people that aren't thier brothers, sister's OR parents.
Kindly don't flame me about this. I don't care what you say about it! It's NOT natural and isn't even legal. If I get any flames I will hide your comment.

Of COURSE they love each other! They're related for Sparks sake! I love my brothers and sisters and parents more than anything but that doesn't mean I wanna bang them! It's called "Brotherly" "Sisterly" or "Parental" love! It's not freakin' romantic love!

Hi sweets! I don't want to offend you but when you have lived distanced from your closest relatives (mother, father, sister or brother alike) and then you just meet them again...Sometimes that love can be more a romantic-love type rather than a family-love type.
And the relationship grows stronger when hate's been feeding its roots.
Okay. It's not natural and it's not legal but then again what's natural love or legal love?! I think LOVE IS. I actually hate going on tagging "romantic love", "abusive love", "family love". Even when it's about love (I know about a brother and a sister that fell in love with eachother, they had grown up separately so they had not ever seen eachother) but it's just wrong. Well here are three other ones:
- In most cases it also involves pedophilia, father x daughter or uncle x niece for instance (as daughter and niece are usually under 18)
- The youngest person usually doesn't want the relationship and gets raped
- Even if the changes are small, the posibility of having a kid with down syndrome or other complications are bigger, I already said this.

I don't like yaoi or yuri but I can tolerate it... just. I think I draw the line at real people being paired up. Too often do I see my inspirations and heroes (eg; My Chemical Romance, Metallica, Soundgarden, Bullet for my Valentine) being drawn or written about in a disgusting way featuring Tarja Turunen and Sarah Brightman enjoying lesbian sex or something equally uncreative and ridiculous. I think writing that about someone whom you consider yourself to be a fan of is sick and... kinda lame. Certainly, if I were a famous musician I would not be comfortable with weirdoes writing that crap about me.
Also, what I hate is the incest side to it. A fictional character is one thing, real people is different. A creative person writing a tender story about the love between a niece and her uncle or something is controversial and also creative. I think "Good for them! The author is trying something new. Awesome!" but some idiot putting Gerard and Mikey Way into their fanfic and making them have gay sex is just plain gross and also quite disrespectful. I totally don't like that.
Overall, I don't like either of them when they are not creative but it is the incest that really bugs me. I think in the real world... if one of my friends or someone I know is in a sexual relationship with a family member I would support them and not judge them. However, I would not do it myself. I can't judge what they feel for anyone else.
I thought I would write here what my opinion was on the issue as a discussion. You don't need to reply, although I would kinda like to hear what you have to say about the issue. I agree with your views that you have written in your Artist's Comments and I'd like to know more.

I'm okay with yaoi, partial to yuri. Good with LGBTs real life, too. Incest doesn't really matter to me as long as participants consent. As long as they consent, does their love-life really affect anyone else? Sure, I agree on the no if it's like a mother raping her underage child or even some uncle raping his niece who is of age. That's terrible. But if it's just two adults who consent to it, I don't see any harm.
And I don't want to come off as flaming or bashing you. I'm extremely sorry if I sounded like that. To each his own, eh?

I think incest is circumstantial. Love is one thing. Non-consensual or involvement with a person too young to even know what a relationship is, is a totally different matter.

I know, I don't like incest pairings either. Heck, when I try to fic a good fic about my favorite Angel Sanctuary character Zaphkiel, almost everyone of them has him paired up with Raziel, and Vol. 14 cleariflied that Raziel is his son for Primus sakes!
