Happy Friday everyone! This week I was able to draw Ari and Phil representing their Disney names in chibi style
I was inspired by 's picture of Scotty and Orin (TOS) as Centaurs :fav.me/d8mxxkl Anyways, Phil found a magic wand and turned Ari into a mermaid merman for fun but Ari's mad about the situation. I know magic doesn't exist in sci-fi but the idea was for a funny side story that doesn't exist in the timeline of my story.
I'll admit I did name Phil after Phil the Satyr from Hercules but Ari's name was unintentional. I realized it after the fact while I was going through a list of male Hebrew names. So Phil keeps bringing up the mermaid reference to him.

Haha, oh my gosh. This is so funny! It's even funnier 'cause I was just reading a book about Greek mythology while 'The Little Mermaid' played on the TV!

1. As he is about to get out from bed he accidentally bumps his faces against he floor and then realizes he's a mermaid 2. When he was about to feed his pet cats (Salome, Tevye, and Nefertari) he gets transformed into a mermaid
Wow that is a coincidence! I haven't watched The Little Mermaid in a while. I've only seen the Hebrew dub for "The Part of Your World" song on YouTube and I was imagining Ari singing it

The hebrew dub for that song was sung by a woman but it did give me an idea about how Hebrew sounds like when it's sung and I think it's more poetic than the English dub. I think I would just have to imagine Ari singing that song with a masculine voice instead of a feminie voice. If you are curious about the Hebrew dub here's how it sounds like (it's with English subtitles)
