Finally fixed the text and coloring for this pic hopefully it's not sloppy like the previous pic of André (4/28/14)

Hola! During this week I decided to draw my Android character, André, doing facial expressions/reactions for fun. I will explain each facial expression from the top to the bottom (left to right).

Normal/Serious: He's trying not to look to emotional since he doesn't want to light up.

Singing: Since he is a singing Android I thought it would be interesting if I drew him singing for rehearsal before he goes out performing as a human. If you can't read the text it says ,"♫ I am not a hero I am not an angel I am just a droid ♫ " Yes, droid is short for Android I was inspired by Josh Groban's song, "In Her Eyes" www.youtube.com/watch?v=O5z2SV… I had the tune in my head while I was writing that verse but don't worry the lyrics to my song is not a romance song.

Happy: This is how he's usually like when he's happy

Rage: When he's really emotional his body lights up. Again if you can't read the text it says, " Get it through your primitive head! I am NOT a Ken! I am REAL!" In my story, "Lost In Time" it's derogatory to call an Android "Ken" like the Ken doll from the Barbie doll brand. The term Ken is used to describe an Android as fake, artificial, and unrealistic. I was inspired by the criticisms that people have given Barbie dolls for their unrealistic body propotions and facial appearance. Anyways, I was imagining a scene in my story when I drew him like this. I was thinking maybe his adoptive uncle, Tony Lombardi, calls André a "Ken doll"when Phil first introduces him as his son at the Lombardi family reunion.

Laughter: Again his body is lighting up when he's really emotional. He's laughing in tears because his adoptive father, Phil Lombardi, is tickling him

Skeptical: When I drew this one I was thinking of a scene in my story where he first meets Phil Lombardi. I would imagine him being very skeptical of him since he doesn't trust humans. Eventually, he trusts Phil later on in the story as he starts getting to know him.

I might plan on drawing more facial expressions but for the moment I hope you enjoy!!
