Finally my first art meme that I've done with my Android character Andre Lombardi (Lost In Time). For fun I thought I should share with my watchers and friends on fictional characters that have inspired me for Andre

1.Data (Star Trek:TNG): Ever since I saw Data in Star Trek:TNG I started getting fascinated with Androids and other artificial lifeforms which is why I made my character as an Android. The only similarities that Andre and Data have in common is that they are both well rounded in the sciences and fine arts. They both want to learn about humans so that way they can both relate with them and fit in with them. If they both don't know how to do something they have to learn it. However, the difference is that Andre has emotions while Data does not (until Star Trek:Generations but everyone remembers him being emotionless than with his emotion chip.). Another difference is that Data owns Spot (Orange Tabby cat) while Andre owns Astro (Siberian husky dog).

2.Josh Groban: As one of my favorite male singers his singing career and genre has been a huge inspiration for me in placing Andre's career in singing and they both do FAQ sessions for their fans at their concerts as well as singing in multi-languages. Even Josh's facial features and hair have inspired Andre's character design because I wanted to add some personality to him

3.The Spine (Steam Powered Giraffe): The Spine is one of few male singing Android characters that I have found on the internet and part of his design has inspired me for Andre's android appearance especially his neck. 4: Mewtwo (Pokemon): Like Mewtwo he was mistreated and abused by humans (slavery) that he holds bitter sentiment against them and distrusts them. At first when he is bought by Phil Lombardi (adoptive father) he behaves like a jerk with him. Later, when he sees that Phil treats him with love and kindness he has a change of heart for him and starts to realize that not all humans are bad like his oppressors just like Mewtwo when he sees Ash sacrifice himself to stop the Pokemon from fighting each other. Only difference is that André doesn't have psychic powers. However, I was inspired by Mewtwo's psychic ability to light up his body but the difference is that André's ability to light up is electrical and it happens when he's very sentimental

5. Jack Skellington (The Nightmare Before Christmas): Like Jack Skellington he doesn't care about the fame and praises that come with his talent and career. They both feel tired of their careers that they seek something different in their lives. Jack seeks to take over Christmas while Andre seeks to be a scientist. They both use scientific means to try and understand the world around them. (I know the science in The Nightmare Before Christmas doesn't make any sense to the science in real life but we get an idea that Jack uses science equipment and mathematical equations to understand the meaning of Christmas.) No, Andre isn't scary like Jack Skellington except when he's really ticked off. So don't push his buttons. 6.Blind Mag (Repo! The Genetic Opera)lind Mag's mechanical eyes have inspired me for designing Andre's eyes. However, the only difference is that his eyes (preceptors) do not conjure up images/pictures when they light up. Instead his eyes only light up in the dark and in foggy places. 7.Sabrina Spellman (Sabrina The Teenage Witch): Sabrina Spellman is a half witch/half mortal who is trying to fit in with mortals while trying to conceal her witch powers. She is still trying to learn about herself as a witch while going through daily everyday trials. On the other hand, Andre is an Android who is trying to fit in with humans by impersonating as one while keeping his identity a secret because society holds prejudices against Androids. Even though he's an Android there are programs that he has but isn't aware of them (vocal program and Kosher program just to name a few) so he learns more about his programs as he lives with Phil. Like Sabrina he can be a smart alac at times and he isn't afraid to speak out against unfair treatment and injustices in society.

8. Abby Scuito (NCIS): She's been another inspiration for me to place Andre's interests in the sciences (biology, forensics, chemistry) and that he's the complete opposite of stereotypes. Abby breaks stereotypes because she isn't the typical gloomy goth character that is portrayed in the media and in the words of her coworker, DiNozzi, " She is the happiest goth you'll ever meet." despite being surrounded by death. Andre on the other hand breaks the sci-fi tv Android stereotype because he has emotions and at times he can be illogical but he tries to use logic where it's needed. They both like to hang out in their science labs and they both have plush animals (Abby has Bert The Hippo while Andre has Watson the teddy bear). They are both smart and yet vulnerable. They both use words that most of the other characters don't understand like big technical terms. As far as opposites go Abby wears goth clothing while Andre wears nerdy clothes though in the lab he wears a mix of nerd and steampunk attire While Abby likes to play loud music in her lab he likes to work in his lab without any noises nor distractions. If he ever does play music in his lab it would be classical music
