Like my first devilman lady I drew this at the same time. But this one is a bit bigger so not all of it fit in my scanner. But I did managed to get the main body in so I hope you like it.Related content

I started off with Devilman Lady the anime and moved on into more Go Naga works. I really have enjoyed Devilman Lady. I've only really just getting into some his other work in the past 2 years. I have some of Cutie Honey 90s comics printed by Iron Cat. I also have seen Devilman OVA and some of Mao Dante,New Cutey Honey! I just read a English Translated scans of vol.1 of Devilman Lady manga! <3

it always puts a smile on my face when i catch a different character walking in the back ground. it surprises me when other animes have devilman walking in the background. just the other day i say devilman in the second to the last episode of voltron.

i first became a fan of Devilman back in '95 when it first came out in america by manga entertainment. i loved the story so much that i looked into it further and found out that devilman is the water down version of Mao dante aka demon lord dante. did you know that the lady devilman story is just the girl version of devilman and the reason why she looks the way she does is because of the female demon in demon lord dante?

Well I was under imperssion that Devilman Lady is not the same as Devilman or Mao Dente. It has some base in them but is more of the story of evolving of man kind into demon like beings. It is that they are not really demons and that it is nature way of stopping mans overpopulation. It doesn't take much of a supernatural view as Go Nagais other works.

no, devilman and the devilmand lady are the same story but compaired to the original mao dante; they are the mild version. back in the 70's when go was asked to do an anime of mao dante; he thought the story is too mature for the audiance of that time period so he redid the story to devilman( a demon who fell in love with a human and vowed to protect her from his fellow demon kind). the story of devilman that you were talking about is the OVA that later came out in the 90's.

well keep in mind that the original devilman story was done in the late 70's. and the devilman lady came out several years later after devilman. the important thing here is that they are what came after mao dante and his story.

thanks for the links, have you seen the devilman live action movie? i was out and about yesterday when i stumbled upon it, it makes me laugh that not many people here in tucson know about devilman but the movie is even funnier. i wonder what devilman's american version is like i want to know. i have had that movie for over four years and i thought i die waiting to get my hands of it. everyone told me to be paitent that the american version would be out soon not four years later.

cool. i have the live cutie honey movie but i never seen the show they did. both are based off of the re-cutie honey anime whitch was funny but the movie cracked me up when black claw started singing his song on how he was going to kill honey. that part was different from the anime where scarlet claw was the one singing.
