Cursed Child AU - no it has nothing to do with Harry Potter don't even ask.

In this AU, Lilith fessed up to cursing her sister and used the Shared Pain cantrip/spell to split the curse with Eda many years prior to the events of canon, long before she and Belos began sleeping together when she was 28. Lilith believed the curse made her infertile, Belos is 400+ years old and seriously doubts he can father children at this point (human men can sire children until the day they die, but their odds of doing so decrease dramatically as they age past 50-60. Sperm gets less mobile and more abnormal, and of course erectile dysfunction exists. He doesn't have the latter issue, but the first, yes) so he's firmly convinced that between him and Lilith's curse, there will be no surprise babies. They still use contraceptive spells anyway because Safe Sex, kids.

Hunter happens by accident anyway.

Aaaaand he inherits the Owl Curse from Lilith. Thankfully he doesn't get Belos's curse, but...he's a handful, let's put it that way. Wrangling a baby Owl Beast is hard. Especially for two aging parents who are also attempting to run a country.
