I must say, I really like the lighting in this one. Both the dragon and the background really worked out well I think. It makes me think of like cover art for a CD case or something. Very well done ^_^

Nice job. I like how all the various elements - the curtains of light falling, the water effects, the scales, etc. They all look really good and very 'together', like they're of the same level of quality. I've seen pics where parts are really good, and others.. not so much. ^_^ Anyway, I like it. and how the dragon's kinda crumbling.. looks kinda painful.

thanks! ehe, i guess it did end up looking kindof crumbly, originally it was just a little tattery, but then i tried to make something like scars, and i may have overdone it, but thats a cool idea! ^_^

lol. i suppose it could be scars, too, heh heh.. well, with the rocky landscape and the bronzy color it all looked rather earthy, and so the scars and tatters looked like crumbling stone to me...

I agree, though I didn't see it until you pointed it out, I was sortof trying to say my train of thought, at this point the crumbling thing sounds pretty cool to me, though I like the ambiguity

Heh, dont feel too bad: this was an odity for the time it took, I ususaly never stick with anything close to my original sketch, so it freaked me out that it was just finished in so short a time
