So after almost 8 months, it's finally done!My friend Theo and I finished working on our short one-shot, a homage to one of our favourite animation films.
I'm super proud of this little project.

This comic is pretty amazing! And I like how it adds a deeper perspective to the film without trying to "destroy" or "deconstruct" it, as most fanworks often do.
Though, be prepared to receive a bunch of nitpicking fanmail nagging about every canon inconsistency based on throwaway lines in the film. : p

Dude, you absolutely killed it. The coloring is so intense and vibrant without being harsh or grating. I gotta say, I'm glad you're still sharing your gift, and it's good to see you tackle a project for the first time in a while. Keep creating.

Truthfully I really like how this ties into the Disney movies, though it makes Jafar "killing" the carpet in the (second?) movie so much more tragic, considering how they knew each other. It all makes a lot of sense (though I'm trying to avoid using spoilers now)!
Your art, as usual, is also really good (other people can critique that far more than me, though; I reserve my most cutting critiques for when I rip apart my own art)!

Oh man, I really loved this one. The story was fantastic, and I liked the characters really well, the colors worked perfectly, this whole thing was just amazing. I don't know if I'll be able to think of Aladin without feeling like this story is canon now, though

Wow, I just read this all and to say I am impressed is to put it lightly. It's added a new depth to the whole story and showing us the previous masters as well as the inception of the cave...also Iago got a level in badass...albiet for a short time. Did you both do the art or was that only one of you and the same question for the story.

A fanatic art!!!! A great focus and lighting, and a fanatic art for it. However, you already see that. Because land-walker was just born being an amazing warrior, easy. Only thing your not, was boring, lazy, and weak. Like me...
