Female have more of a bunny style tail and males have more of a chinchilla/squirrel tail. <3
The ear size differences are also adorable, cause males have smaller pointier ears, and females were based on more of an over sized mouse ear. ^^

After reading the bestiary I see that Males use their tails to attract a mate, perhaps the females ears evolved to better hear predators when guarding the kits.
