Quatl are quite possibly the most argumentative creature Everis has seen. Whether you are feeding them, playing, or just trying to bond, you can bet your Quatl is geckering all day and night at you. Despite being water dwellers, Quatl do not swim well and cannot breathe underwater. Due to this the ideal environment for a Quatl is a slow moving river so it can float past food and still be happy in the water. Quatl as a species have a very low intelligence level. Everything solid is food and everything liquid is swimming water. Quatl possess no parental capabilities and it seem inbreeding has no affect on the Quatls themselves.

Quatl Eggs are laid casually as the Quatl floats about. The eggs sink, resting on the bottom of the lake until ready to hatch. You know when the egg is ready because it will float to the surface. Once hatched, Quatl pups are on their own and generally do exactly the same thing adult Quatl do.

Diet: Everything edible, nearly anything non-edible, chews on rubber happily but will not eat it.
