Hey everyone, here's some work I did for the HD release of UNIWAR! Just showcasing the 3 different playable races along with each of the units.It's out now for the android and Iphone, so if you're into RTS action, go pick it up!

I'm a uniwar fan and I LOVE khraleans, it is my favorite race because of how they work in the game, but also because of how they look!
So congrats on a great job man, this reminded me I have some Uni turns to take care of

This reminds me so much of Advance Wars, this game must be really addicting. Totally love the artstyle. Too bad I don't have a iphone or android yet.
And about what someone said of them being like the factions from Starcraft, if anything, that is a compliment. There isn't really a need to reinvent the wheel every single time. Taking what works and using it in different ways is also an option.

Thanks, glad you like it! Sadly I don't have an Iphone or android either so don't feel too bad lol. Yeah nothing wrong with being compared to a long standing franchise like Starcraft. The whole Sci-fi look isn't usually something I'm into myself, but it was nice to push my comfort zone a bit.

awesome! i like the titans. They seem like the ones that will deactivate due to some EmP device or virus until 100 years had passed and reactivate when the other two races were gone and the Titans would rule again!

lol yeah, I didn't mind the white look, but wasn't as big a fan of the red lights, thought they came out too dark looking. So I thought I'd change it to one with better depth/contrast in the lights. There's 6 other colors, and knowing how easily I change my mind, don't be surprised if another one pops in there

Pretty close though. Just tired of seeing the same old thing being made for iOS platforms. I know it's best to stay in the safe zone when creating games, but originality can go a long way too.

True, but that could be applied to 99% of game art. There's no more reason to apply it to than any of the other 99%. Besides, if you're going to complain about originality you will be complaining a lot.
