A nice model and a nice portrait. However, some art schools seem to stop teaching certain elementaries . I mean the way the brush is being held (not at its hand). Well, what really matters is the result!

The unexpected color palette seems to reveal more about her personality somehow than a conventional portrait would've done and the deconstructed look suggests the truth about people being incomplete works in progress.
She really came alive for me when you added the highlights to her eyes and the drips and splashes around her give energy and movement to the piece.
