Every now and then some smartass comes to elaborate to me how Nature actually works and that all those environmental concerns are pointless and unjustified.
And in those moments I am very much torn apart between facepalming my fucking head off - and kicking them in the teeth at full strength.

Just because you read someone's superficial, and probably paid-off, opinion to justify humanity's all-devouring consumer kind of existence, do not dare to come to ellucidate me assuming that you understand how Nature really works. Things are A LOT more complicated than what you're trying to sell. In fact, you are only finding pathetic excuses to remain ignorant and selfish, but those get blown apart by simple logic, if you cared to know a little more than 3 sentences about the REAL natural world. Meanwhile humanity keeps pillaging the Earth as they please, ignorantly, with the insane, medieval idea that the natural environment is unchangeable, the natural resources are infinite, and therefore you can take as much as you want and do whatever you want with absolutely no consequence whatsoever. What you're trying to sell as objective logic to demonstrate how deep you are into the problem and how much farther you see than the stupid environmentally-conscientious fools who try to counter the damage done by humanity and raise awareness, is nothing but a pseudo-scientific justification of selfishness, greed and utter lack of responsibility on a global level.
