I can't believe I only just checked out your gallery. I feel dumb.
ANYWAYS! I loved all of your sailing pictures and I had to go pick one to fav. I think I like this one the best because of the composition and the vivid color. You definitely captured the whole Nautical feeling. (:

Don't feel dumb, no need to!
Thanks a lot for your comment, I'm happy I suceeded to capture a little bit of what moves me. I found that is very difficult to do that, as sailing - like most sports - also has something to do with the attitude of the watcher/viewer and you either need to make images that makes people go "wow" or else "ah yes, i can feel what you mean". I'm working on that...
Thanks for the !

I wish you had a polarizing filter, it'd make a great photo like this and make it amazing!!!

Hm... as always I'm not satisfied with my work, so please enlighten me: What would it have done to it? And can I use polarizing filters for my super-zoom cam?

Polarizing lenses make blues much darker, thus increasing contrast between the sky and the clouds, as in my photo Equalize--notice how dark blue the sky is. I think it'd be great to use with your water photos. I'm not sure if you can use one or not on your camera---I'm not good with technical stuff lol

Ah, I see, thanks. I'll just ask someone at the photo shop, they'll know.
