Faber-Castell Classic Colour Pencils
Canson Artist Universal Sketch, 65lb
Who knew that colouring could be so hard? T_T
This is my first drawing using colour pencils. My drawing senpai, , suggested to start with something simple, say apples. I couldn't resist taking a bite 
Poor apple. I wanted to immortalize you in the way that you should be before you disappear into oblivion but I just couldn't. (T_T) I tried to erase the mess that I did on my bite mark but it just wouldn't budge. (T_T) And now, my digestive juices are feasting on your succulent flesh.

I remeber the first time I started to do serious attempts on coloring. It did not work out at all, with the consequence that my watercolors collected dust within my cupboard for a long time 
I am a bit confused in regards of you light source. The best illuminated parts on your apple seem to be around the area around the bite mark, which would mean that your light source comes from the right/front. But that can`t be since your shadow is on that side too. Either you should darken the area around the bite mark, or change the location of the shadow.

I think the apple is well done ! Love the colours that you used ^^
I think you can put more shadows on the back of the apple, and accentuate its shadow on the table ^^

I feel a strong emotion from your apple, joyful? It must be delicious, have you tried using a tissue or paper pencil to rub the white spots out?

You can try it, but don't rub too hard or it hurts the paper >.<

I enjoy the raw pencil shading, maybe if you want smoother effects you could use a colorless blender. The shape of the apple is nearly exact as the real one.

It's like a clear pencil (something like that)that helps blend in the colors you have already to make it smooth. I'm not sure where you can buy them.. I could ask someone about it.

now what you have to do is to submit this to color pencil club and fruit related group, and ask some suggestion or feedback on how you should improve your technique...One senpai is not enough for this you know~ XD

some clubs indeed were created with high standard of art quality, but there are lots of group who also care about the members's self improvement. ^^ you should search for the suitable group for you ^^ it is not easy, but you will find one suitable in your heart ^^

I think it will be general, and we could also make folders for classification, pencil/graphite in one folder, watercolor, pencil color..and so on..and each week, there will be disscussion and tips exchange on how we could improve! we could also learn one or two secrets right~
