Another version of FooBear, without a bear, new playlist, resizeable window etc.
Plugins needed
- foo_ui_columns.dll - [link]

- foo_uie_quicksearch.dll - [link]
- foo_uie_lyrics - [link]
- Plus one extra that is included in the rar.
How to use
Note: When you install Foobar2000, make sure that you don't install it for several users. If you do install it for more than one user I think the PanelsUI folder will be moved somewhere to your /Documents & Settings/ folders.
1. Install the fonts.
2. Put all the plugins in the Components folder.
3. Start Foobar2000. It should ask if you want yo use PanelsUI, ColumnsUI or the Default interface. Select PanelsUI.
4. Extract the rar contents to: /foobar2000/PanelsUI/
Go to Preferences > Display > PanelsUI and select the foolars.pui file in the Layout dropdown box.
(5). I recommend that you turn on ClearType if you use Windows XP.
6. Add and scan your Media Library in Preferences > Media Library.
7. If the album title in the playlist is called "Single Tracks" you must tag your album's Total Tracks tag. The easiest way to do this is to select all your songs in the playlist > rightclick > rightclick again on the Total Tracks field and choose Auto track number.
8. To display the album art:
The front cover must be named folder.jpg and be located in the album's folder where the music files are.
Same with artists. Name those images artist.jpg.
9. Sort your playlist. Rightclick on it > Sort / Group by...
10. Tag your music!
Rightclick on your songs and choose properties. Fill in the correct artist, title, year, total tracks, album name etc.
Total Tracks is needed for this theme to work correct!

11. Artist information must be stored in the %comments% id3 tag. Fill in your information with some help from last.fm or wikipedia. If you want to keep the original comments from the tag you can create your own tag like %information% for example and then make some changes in the code.

I have some problem with the "total tracks" edit, some of my files just doesn't agree to remember the total tracks I set (auto track doesn't work either)
Additionally, some of my album just have 1 or 2 songs, and the cover art in the playlist seems to be cut off

love the config though had a question about displaying the %comment% value.
Is there a certain way its suppose to be formatted within the tag (i.e. line breaks)? Because it seems like it simply just cuts off once it goes out of the width bounds.
Manually doing linebreaks in wordpad then copypasting doesn't really work either as it results in special characters.

I do not have the foolars.pui file... i have downloaded everything and i have the Foolars folder but i do not have any foolars.pui. You dont mean Basic.pui, right?

Great skin, made me start using foobar
But i have som problems =\
1) Lyrics works but the colors are some default, black BG and green text. How do i get your colors?
2) When "Shop playlist" i dont see the small cover in the list, only the big one.
3) Music Library (seems like this isnt a problem anymore... all i had to do was click on +Album or something

Yeah I wrote to the uie_lyrics maker 'cos there IS actually an 'enable scroll' option but it does'nt work.
Maybe with an older version (I remember it used to work some months ago).
Anyway, I made little change to your config (in order to learn a little about foobar) and it's a real, real beautifull one.

Ok 'Music Library' problem solved by renaming all pictures
Could add possibility to switch between front, back & disc covers by clicking the cover art. That's to say changing the 'folder.jpg' to 'front.jpg' everywhere.

Lovely layout. I have one problem though. On every song half way through it stops to update the tags or something like that. I thought this was the lyrics being embedded to the file, but I have disabled that, and it still occurs
