Dusk's POV

I run through the forest at top speed, killing any creature I can catch. I stop when I hear howling. I stop myself enough to watch a large black wolf fighting a boy with a sword. I watch as they lunge and dodge, almost as if they're dancing. After a few minutes the sun begins to rise. I run off into my nearby cave so the transformation can take place without me having to worry about being hurt by animals after I pass out.

I quickly make it back just as sunrise hits. I growl in pain as my fangs retract and my eyes change back to normal, as well as the blood in my body returning to normal and flowing again. I can all but feel my organs shifting back to their human state. After it's done I muster up the strength to go to the back of the cave and crawl into my usual crevice just before the world goes black.
