Allen's POV

I watch as a large tattoo of black wings form into the real thing on Julia's back. I gasp and slowly reach out to touch them. I look at her for permission and she nods, letting me know it's okay. I touch her soft wings and trace one of the feathers gently. "What-what are you?" I hear her sigh and I jerk my hand away when she moves her wings to surround her. I watch as she gently rubs the brim of her wing, with a nervous look on her face. I see the tears well up in her eyes. "I'm-I'm a dark angel." I watch as every part of her except her wings disappear behind the feathered things. "Please don't hate me." I move over and hug her gently. She doesn't come out of her wings. I end the hug and she pops her head back up. "Can we...put the bandages back on before we hug please?" "Okay." I reply softly and grab the bandages.
After bandaging her up, we hugged. I hear a knock on the door. "Stay put, I'll get it." I walk down the stairs to see who it is. I open the door and see a man with red eyes. I gasp and take a step back just before I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. He runs past me and up the stairs to Julia as I look down to see a knife sticking out of my gut. I put a hand around it, attempting to stop the blood.

Julia's POV

I shriek when the door is busted down. I surround myself with my wings and feel them grabbed harshly. I yell in pain as one wing is jerked away from my body. "I've finally found you." I recognise the voice right before feeling the dark angel side of me take over. I become trapped in the back of my mind, unable to control myself.
