Description
...I shivered at the thought of him. The memories flashed before my eyes and I nearly cried at the thought of them. I shook them off as I thought No, get ahold or yourself. You can't let Allen see you like this. I took a few deep breaths and made myself calm down as I pushed the memories into the back of my mind. I went down the stairs and met Allen at the door. "Are you okay?" He asked politely. I nodded as I said "Let's go." We walked out to his cherry red Ferrari and he held the door open for me to get in. "Why aren't you just a gentleman today?" He chuckled and shut my door. He walked around the car and got in. He turned it on and I listened to it purr. How did he ever afford this?As we were going down the road I turned on the radio. Dance Dance by Fall Out Boy came on. I hummed along and stared into the window, locked in a trance. I jumped when Allen put his hand on my knee. "Are you okay?" I looked over and could see the concern in his eyes. "Ya, you just spooked me...I was in a trance. That's all." The concern didn't leave but he nodded and put both hands on the wheel. I looked off in the window again and an awkward silence passed in the rest of the car ride.
Once we got to the mall, Allen rushed out of his seat and ran to open my door. I giggled as I got out of the vehicle and he closed my door. "Speedy Gonzales much?" He chuckled, took my hand, and we entered the mall.
We looked around and bought a few fancy outfits, as well as some jeans and tees. He led me to the Café. We sat in a booth and got a drink. I examined the place. Its theme was orange, black, and yellow. It was cheery, with a few people milling around, and the waiter was kind when she asked for what we wanted to drink. It had a sleek black floor and booths along the walls. The booths were orange with yellow table tops and the bar in the front was a black granite table top with orange and yellow seats. In the middle of the Café were a few tables that had yellow seats and orange table tops. It was homey and kind of reminded about the restaurant that I use to go to before...HE came back. I was knocked out of my trance again by Allen waving his hand in front of my face. I looked at him and saw the worry in his eyes again. I smiled sheepishly and said, "Sorry, it's a habit to study a new place I've never been in before." "It's alright...you just worry me when you zone out." "Don't be worried, I just get into to much focus once in a while." He nodded and the waiter brought Allen his beer and me a cherry soda. "Looks like I'll be driving us tonight." I joked. He laughed and took my soda. "Hey!" I tried to snatch it back but he kept it out of my reach. He took a sip and laughed as I tried to get it again. I smirked and moved to his side of the booth.
I turned on the flirt and whispered in his ear "May I please have it back?" While my hand was on his chilled chest. I saw him blush and hand it back. I stuck my tongue out at him and said "Haha, to easy." I moved back over to my seat as he mumbled something about flirts and irritation. I laughed under my breath and put his straw in my soda. He quirked an eyebrow but took a sip with me. I giggled and we started to chat. Then the memories returned again. I nearly blacked out from fear. He rushed over to me as I gripped my head. "That's it...you're not fine. I'm bringing you home." He paid the waiter and helped me stand up. Even though I insisted I was okay he made me lean on him until we got to the car. He helped me in and buckled me up. He went around the car and handed me a bottle of water. "Drink." Is all he said. I did as I was told but in sips. When we got back to the house he carried me in and up the steps and brought me to my room. He laid me down and tucked me in then stubbornly brought a chair in and sat, intent on me going to sleep. I sighed, but closed my eyes and soon drifted off to sleep. Then the memories took ahold.
