Description I squirm and struggle to break free of his grip. I feel him turn me around, and I immediately cling to his shirt for dear life and cry. I feel him rub my back and hear him whisper in my ear. "It's all alright. You're here now. I won't let anything hurt you. It's all okay." He shushes me gently and continues to whisper to me and soothe me as I slowly calm down.
After awhile, I quit crying and yawn sleepily. "Will you sleep in here with me tonight?" I ask him tiredly. He doesn't respond, he just lies down on his side while still holding me close to him. He kisses the top of my head and pets my head softly. O slowly drift back to sleep, but this time, I sleep in a black, peaceful sleep.
Allan's POV
I hold Julia close to me, cradling her. I have a strong urge to protect her as I look at her peaceful sleeping face. I gently kiss one of the cuts on her cheek, than rest my chin on her head, and my cheek on the top of the pillow. I slowly drift off to sleep as well.
I wake up when I feel Julia move. I open my eyes and see that her head is on my shoulder and her arm is draped over me. I smile softly, and kiss the top of her head. She smiles in her sleep. I take in the moment for a few more minutes. I grab her shoulder gently and shake it. She slowly opens her eyes and lookes up at me, still half asleep. "Ya?" "It was time to get up. Come on let's check those wounds." I reply as I slowly sit up, helping her sit as well. She slowly peels off the bandages from her stomach and stops at her chest so I can't see. She un-bandages her arms as well.
"Let me see. I am the one who put the bandage son you in the first place." I say softly. She sighs and turns her back to me. She unwraps the rest of the bandages and covers her hand over her chest with her back still to me. I gasp when I see what I missed before in the rush of stopping her bleeding. It covers her whole back and I stare in awe. "You weren't supposed to see that." She said softly.
