Before you,I was losing it.
My coping mechanism.
My imagination.
My colorful mind,
was turning black.
I was scared.
I was lost, confused.
Then you came into my world,
and said hello.
A few sparks of color.
Some red,
From a familiar name
inside the friends list.
Others blue,
the reason, the same.
Teal curiosity,
Lavender lackluster,
and the everfearful yellow,
Warning me to be careful.
As the few days progressed,
A message from you sent a flurry.
Colors surrounded me,
a small vivid spark igniting.
You made me smile,
When I had forgotten how.
Bold and beautiful.
Like a speckled horse,
galloping to my heartbeat.
I didn't understand,
at the time.
I'd not felt this since childhood,
Where I only had the basic color wheel,
and not a full understanding of it all.
And soon, a word arose
like the soft bloom
of a white rose.
A new beginning.
A new time.
Red. Beating.
Sending my heart fluttering away.
Green. Ready to go.
