wowww, that's awesome! i couldn't even tell what they were at first, and then i got the impression of birds, and then only a little later did i actually consciously piece together the visual shapes of birds on the ground flapping up and away. that's cool, the picture like changes feelings as its first looked at. it's like one can witness our visual process of assembling order from abstraction. it reminds me of m. c. escher, but yet a little more realistc AND a little more abstract. really, the more i look at this, the more i really see like a character quality to the piece, similar to the common-feeling between all of escher's pieces. it feels like it could go with an entire gallery of the same theme and each would make the whole greater than the sum of its parts. very well done!
