Description
I saw some really cool fandom hair bows on Tumblr recently, and I wanted to make my own. In case anyone else wants to try making the same thing, here's a tutorial.I used a cotton print I had left over from making a Marvel dress this summer.
Cost of materials: Under $10

Do you happen to think that it'd work well with a pony tail holder instead of a clip?
I can never get clips to work with my 2 1/2 foot long pony tail. lol

You could try a pony tail holder. I have really thick hair, so what I do is make a pony tail in a holder first, and then clip the bow to a small portion of hair right above the holder.

Hey, you might want to check out this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Or3QT…
I've done the tutorial before and it worked out great : ) though the result is a bit different and probably won't be as clean
But you can do it completely with hot glue

Cool! It's neat to see how different people do it. I bet as long as you hid the rough edges, you could still get a clean look with the hot glue only method.

You can do it! A sewing machine isn't necessary for this. Since the bows are so small, you can hand-stitch in no time.

This gives me some ideas for hair bows in modeling 3D accessories for characters as well as insight on how to model fabric bows better.
