Would it be okay if I cited this as a kind of illustration for my fan fiction? There will be a dark period when Korra is separated from her friends and only has Mako's scarf to remember them by, and I think this fits it very well.

This is really well done. I like that it's a scarf instead of Mako's body or blood. It's almost like, you know Mako is dead, but since he's not visible you don't know for sure, and that's almost worse. Anyway, that's just my interpretation. Great artwork.

But I don't know why she would be part of the equalists movement. I mean these non-benders are revolting because the have nothing, she has everything..even a 'boyfriend'. Unless their is a catch to this whole situation...I have a feeling she is bad anyways.
Maybe Amon killed her mother, you know how she said her mother 'died' when she was young. Then Amon threatened to kill her and her father unless they joined the equalists...All in a days work for an avatard, problem solved.

Haha, good analysis. Although I think we may be pulling at straws a bit here. I mean, she might end up being a lovely girl who truly cares for Mako... but I doubt it. I dunno what exactly she's up to, but I don't like it...
