Things are literally getting shocking now with the introduction of a course in the electric and metal themed tech cup. Electric Voltopia is any tech geek's wildest dream, taking place on a literal circuit board. Diodes, resisters, transistors, and wires galore dot the course, serving as barriers and also delivering uncomfortable shocks to anyone that gets too close. On top of that, many spark-themed enemies call the course home, ready to amp up the terrain and provide further hindrances to the racers. Hopefully you brought some rubber tires because this cup is going to be fun!1. The starting line is adorned with a amplified logo. Start by driving through a USB port, going through an open pathway lined by electric poles circuit tracers. The poles will occasionally sent lightning jolts on the field, while plugg enemies sit on outlets. Watch when they plug themselves in (pun intended!), as that will send electric fields across the tracers, temporarily supercharging the terrain. Go through a sharp U-turn, this time drive across copper wires that will occasionally spark up. Drive up a ramp through a wire grate. Watch as traveling currents come from a generator below through the wires. Don't think you can take a shortcut down to the terrain below, as other generators are putting up lightning fields to ward off riders.
2. After crossing the vent, take a sharp turn through some button batteries also sending currents. Turn onto another straight pathway, but watch out as an electric dragon from Super Kirby clash will send lightning blasts down the course to dodge. Try not to drive on the microchips, as they too will get charged by the blasts. Turn onto another straightway as turbites from 64 float across the area. Be careful not to run into them while cruising
3. Enter a large open part of the circuit board. A central plasma orb is the main attraction, occasionally sending out large plasma strikes onto the field. Copper wires and tracers will also send charges throughout the course while an additional electric laser is present at the end. Make sure to weave between the current as it oscillates in the back so that you don't get singed.
4. After leaving the plasma dome, turn and drive underneath the wire gate, again watch out for currents, pluggs, and turbites in the terrain. Drive above the starting USB port and over another section of rising electric currents. Next, drive over some live open wires, this time flanked by two sparkies that will occasionally charge them with live currents. Watch out as another electric dragon awaits on the other end, sending out blasts again.
5. Turn and dodge more currents from electric diodes and tracers. Next, enter an aluminum tunnel, watch out for more sparkies that will discharge electric orbs under the canopy. Watch out as inside there is an electric orb that moves through the interior, also occasionally setting off sparks from the roof. An illuminated spark icon decorates the frontal area. Leave the tunel and enter a large outlet cannon, that will shoot you across an electric forcefield across the circuitboard. Fly through three circular voltage gates, try to navigate their charges and get through all three to save time.
6. Once crossing the gates, turn through some more tracers before jumping through a path of diodes. Fly around the electric charges before turning around the central chip. Go through some resister paths that carry electric orbs throughout the terrain.
7. Enter another turn through some turbite enemies before encountering the rare Spark-I enemies from 64. Watch as they draw charges when close and will create temporary lightning fields while still sending out accurate blasts of electricity. Drive through 2 more electric gates and around three tesla coils that emit circular lightning charges. Drive through some sharp turns, across the main power chip before entering the final portion
8. To finish the course, a plasma wisp from super star sits through a circular voltage field. On top of shooting his plasma blasts, he will also emit electric charges from the many grates that line this path. Weave the field with caution, go through one final round of resisters, electric orbs, and currents before reaching the starting line and doing the final lap!
Wow, can't believe how much things come full circle! what started as a random idea called electric blvd 5+ years ago evolved into this custom track. Crazy to see the progression in art and confidence with doing colors, hope you enjoy! Still hoping for that Air Ride Sequel!
