Description Introducing another ghost and spirit themed course in the haunted Phantom cup, this design was personally one of the most fun to make!  Nighttime Nocturne takes a tour across dreamlans after the sun has set.  At this time, nocturnal ghouls and enemies come out to play.  Explore multiple creepy sites across various Kirby titles as you master your night-riding abilities!  

1. Start off at the entrance of a deep forest, reminiscent of backgrounds from the Mass attack levels.  Various trees with haunted faces, jack-o-lanterns, and graves line the background, adding to a spooky ambiance.  Here, ghost kirbies from Squeak Squad/Kirby fighters fly about, don't let them catch you or you'll be temporarily possessed and unable to control your ride.  In addition, poison mash enemies from SuperStar Ultra also patrol.  

2. Next, drive under the dark and gloomy Parallel woods from Star Allies.  With this deep blue hue and yellow eyes, even the most seasoned of riders can't help but shudder!  Mariel spiders from the original dreamland descend from his canopy to grab riders, while mad apples from SuperStar Ultra also fall down and will lunge at riders.

3. Exit the woods into an open space.  Here, the course pays tribute to Canvas Curse dark levels, where the majority of the horizon is shrouded in darkness.  Various lanterns will occasionally light up parts of the course before going out, pay attention to their cues so you don't run into obstacles.  In this portion, Mumbies and rotating spikes pose threats to riders who aren't accustomed to the dark.  Ride to a large ghost tower from Mass attack up a purple miasma, where Gravey enemies will emerge and try to crush riders as they climb.

4. Reach to top of the tower, jump the ramp to drive above parallel wood's canopy.  Up here, more candles illuminate the horizon, while the one-eyed umbrella Jumper shoot enemies patrol, ready to stomp riders.  Leave the canopy onto the second dark course.  Here, one-eyed ghosts from Kirby fighters patrol while jack-in-the-box panels on the ground while launch out Chuckie and Hurly enemies from the original dreamland at unsuspected riders.  

5. Leave the large section and drive around a large skull tower.  Here, flapper bats fly across the terrain, while Mass attack's buzzy bat looms at the top of the spire.  Watch out as he'll occasionally summon bat swarms and transform into his grave form to flatten riders.

6. Now to my favorite part of the course.  Dedicated to Triple Deluxe, enter the haunted house level of world 3 and the hall of mirrors (cue the bouncy music!).  Here, some riders will end up on either side of the hall.  Be careful as hidden enemies can appear in the reflection and catch riders off guard!  This includes ghost gordos, phantas, spooksteps, boolers, and swinging waddle doos.  Also watch out for certain flatforms that will fade and reveal spikes beneath the course.

7. Exit the mirror hall into the knights hallway.  Here, the phanta king will randomly possess certain knights and attempt to disrupt racers.  Finally, ghost books will fly at players until they leave the mansion through a side gate, returning to the start of the forest!  Hope you had a spook-tactular race!
