Description
The long-anticipated final course for the celestial-themed Nova Cup, and boy was this one a BEAR to make. Inspired by the epic final boss sequence in Forgotten land (which in my opinion now tops Planet Robobot as one of the best final boss finishers of all time, if only it wasn't so short!), Roche limit expands on that final boss sequence, creating a fast-paced, awesome rush to the finish. Taking place in the skies above the forgotten lands, the furry Sephiroth god Fecto Elfilis has warped time and space, ready to drop planet popstar on our heads! Start amid the debris of the buildings and rush your way up to defeat Fecto, going through the crumbling buildings along the way. Watch out for Fecto's various spear attacks and for debris falling from the sky as you race, and be cautious not to fall into the warp portals that appear across the stage, as they will send you back to previous points.1. Start at the bottom center within a crumbled pile of steel pillars and debris. Mirroring the start of the final boss sequence from forgotten land, crash onto a breaking road as you start the journey to Fecto. Here, the path diverges as the road is split in two. While each path is the same length-wise, they all have unique perks and features that lead to a unique and awesome ride experience.
2, 3. Let's start on the left side. Jump of the road and circle across the roofs of various buildings. Drive through a broken Holine sign and onto the crumbled remains of the bridge from Forgotten land's intro level. Drive into one of the crumbling buildings and onto another circling section of broken roads. Finish by riding a pair of electric cables up to the tall skyscraper, enter through a hole at the top that will drop you onto a cannon that shoots you to the next part.
4, 5. Meanwhile, for riders that choose right, immediately, take a hairpin turn down a broken road and through another holine sign. Make a turn onto some green terrain, drive through a broken part of fence onto a next building. Fly through some of the multiple antennae spires, with flying machines taking advantage of the aerial boost pads. Afterwards, drive across some tilted buildings and into parts of the crumbling main glass building from Forgotten land's intro level. Make a right turn and circle into another building. Here, get launched to the building top before riding across a series of cables to the next part. Weary riders should watch for the grind rails on the R that will take into a warp portal that will warp you further along the course.
6. Where the separate paths connect is right on the roof of lab Discovora where Fecto Elfilis is first fought. The eldritch abomination is waiting right above, but how to we get to it? Well. for the lucky rider that gets here first, you can re-live the final boss experience from Forgotten land as the Big rig Holine Truck is right there for your taking!! Play as a Kirby and you can inhale the truck and turn into 200+ tons of puffy ramming power again (cue the invinsible theme remix)! Other riders will drive the truck, which isn't as cool but just as effective! The truck also provides extra speed and the ability to destroy flying debris without having the dodge it. Crash through the debris in the wall onto another final branching path taking you to Fecto.
7. Again, two identical length paths diverge, each one going through falling, warping buildings, broken roads as you make the climb to face Fecto. The left goes across the large lookout tower while the right goes through the large glass building again. Each one has a final ramp at the end of the sequence.
8. No better way to finish off the course then by isekai-ing Furry Sephiroth itself! Jump from the ramp into Fecto's direction. While not shown here, the final sequence would be an interstellar chase through the portal, riding final pieces of debris and dodging more attacks until you finally crash through and disintegrate Fecto back to where it came from. Finish off by driving back to the top of Lab Discovera, jump back to the starting road and cross the finish line in epic fashion! Question is, how will the next Kirby Game top Vehicular Deicide?
