After all that work, just because I'm persnickity, I just go over everything in blue again to make it darker, and just erase the parts where the ambient light is hitting again until I'm satisfied.
Now, It's a lot less complicated during well lit scenes, but since for the night scenes I just go over everything in blue and black, you can just look at a portion of this tutorial for the day ones.

So. Um. . .we're done. I'm sorry this wasn't a very efficient, but hopefully a part of this helped. Hopefully.
