Description
This one is a long overdue gift art of a dark gothic phoenix for my master. Took me around two weeks to finish photoshopping it. Drawing took a few days, (2 I think). This was supposedly a full phoenix but it would take waaaayyy too long to finish. So I decided to turn it into an action pose thingy.
Its not quite dark nor gothic simply because I found it hard to imagine and create a phoenix in black and white. Anyway, this one is for . *Whew! I can finally scratch this one off the list*Your still the best!
P.S.
If its you have any suggestions or comments on how I could make this thing look dark and gothic-y I would appreciate it.

Actually, phoenix are elemental creatures focused on flame. Because of this property they can sometimes even shift partial body builds. Of course it all depends on the type of phoenix. Most phoenix use feathered wings to acquire a more intimidating look or essence absorption depending on the situation.~ *More phoenix info once I release my next CC*

I think pens would help in making it dark. Use it to manipulate the tones... Then use RED as the predominant color since it's already a dark color.
I do like the movement in this one though and its colors suit this one already.

Have you watched Yu Yu Hakusho? If so, do you remember the color of Hiei's fire (black with shades of violet)? I was thinking you could try coloring like that if you want it to look 'dark'.
