Description For those of you who don't already know, I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormon). I'm sure I haven't been the best example of that here, but I would like to say that I have had so much happiness and peace in my life from knowing what I do. I know the church is true, and testify to you that if you pray to know the truth, you can feel the same.

I also served a two year mission to Costa Rica. I wrote a document that basically sums up my experiences and is pretty personal, but if you want to read it feel free to note me and I'll send you a copy.

I don't know why I'm obsessed with werewolves or what it means in relation to who I really am; is it something to overcome, or do I just accept it but keep sight on the more important things in life? That's something I'll need to decide...

Okay, somehow I think I've missed this temple along the way......but wow, it's gorgeous! This is a very nice shot

Oh, I should probably make this clear... I didn't take this shot; I posted this years ago when there was a category for wallpapers and I thought it was just for desktop screenshots for some reason. I would have deleted it by now, but it's had a pretty positive result in sharing info about the church and my testimony.

Nice, but you can't top Mesa... at least for me, anyway, since it has sentimental value to me. I'll have to visit the new one out in Safford sometime... kinda rough living in the second biggest City in Arizona and still having to drive 2 hours to a temple. Hard to squeeze out the $40 in gas when your pocketbook is so thin. I hope you recognize how lucky you are to live so close to temples, and I hope you take the chance to visit the ones in your area as often as possible.... ever notice how the church focuses on Temples every October? Weird...

Yep, I'm actually an RM; I served in Costa Rica back in 06-08

You should definitely choose to serve a mission; one really starts to understand how to listen to the spirit and learns so much about what makes us truly happy in this life.

Just don't do what I am; I've gotten lazy afterward. Learn those lessons, and then never go back to the way things were before!

got a cousin in Japan, and a bro in Calli

i'm sure it will be a great experience for me, i'm rather excited about it i really got to get back in the habit of reading the scriptures though

well, don’t keep being lazy i'll do my best.

And I've never heard of your church before, interesting. I figured it had to be some religious building. Wow. A church that owns castles!!! XD

Yeah, I've heard temples be compared to castles before, and I guess it really does seem that way!

Here's another two that look even more like a castles: [link] and [link]

Also, here's some brief information about what temples are for: [link] (If you have other questions, feel free to ask me here or look around that site a bit more ).

awesome, finally another Mormon that loves wolves, and in Utah, ..hey, we should gather a group of people in Utah that are artists and have a artist meet, it would be awesome!
and learn different tricks from each other and stuff to help each other improve. what aria in Utah do ya live? anywhere near the st. George temple?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Yeah, it's always fun to find another LDS wolf/werewolf fanatic (since we're so few and far-between).

As for art tips and tricks, I know =sugarpoultry (who is also LDS) sometimes does livestreams where she shows her screen as she draws; she also has several tutorials (and so do others; I'd look here: [link] for more). We actually had a livestream for the group featuring =sugarpoultry and ~Novawuff where each would draw live and answer questions in real-time. Maybe we should do that again

I actually live in Utah Valley, but did enjoy Southern Utah the times I've been there!

I have a few temple shots from Costa Rica, but I wouldn't consider any of them print worthy. I do have a friend from that same country who has been to over 52 temples throughout the world; he should have some good pictures. Thing is, he is a UN ambassador (he's met apostles and a former president of the US), is currently living in NY, and is usually pretty busy. Anyway, I can try to talk to him if you want.

It's nice that some artists are too. I hate it when some of the best artists can't even share some of their best work. If they wold make "clean versions" I think there would be too many bits of art to go threw. I like it when I don't have to worry about seeing something bad.

Thanks for being a clean artist!

Oh, wow. Thanks for the ! Yeah, Costa Rica was amazing! Interestingly enough, my dad went to Japan, and that's where I told people I wanted to go when they'd ask years ago...

The mission will be an awesome experience--you'll grow so much! The trick is maintaining the same level when you get back; it's hard sometimes (I mean, I thought I'd be over my werewolf obsession by now, but it's stronger than ever )

If you want to read the report-type-thing I made from my experiences on the mission I can send that to you. Just let me know!

You're welcome, aren't the temples beautiful? I'm not sure which one's my favorite...

Yeah, I'm hoping to go to Japan, but one of the missionaries that served in our ward jokingly prophesied that I would go to Hong Kong XD

Wow, that would be neat to read. Is it a deviation, or is it something that you need to send me via note or message. This is actually the first return missionary that I've met on DA
