In my opinion,heartstrings might not just be some real strings that connecting the bodies with each other(though I like those lovely pictures so much),cos "heart" is not only an internal organ,but also can be some passion that including love and hate,happiness and sadness,pleasure and pain,and so on.

I do believe that some invisible strings connecting Zutara,and tried to express them by the intensest form.

Those strings could be like an electric current,when you touch it you feel it and be impacted.

Well, Heartstrings doesn't necessarily have to have strings connecting their hearts. Your definition of the word is correct. I've just seen a lot of people play off of the words and have strings connecting the two together.

Anyway,heartstrings that connecting Zutara,no matter the real threads or not,people could be free to explain the word themselves,I think.
I also like those pictures which have real strings connecting the two together,they are sweet,fun and touching.>///<

That's true, too. I mean, you can use whatever definition you wish, but I've seen a lot more where they took the heart string literally. I didn't see a lot of using it as a pure emotion.

I know. Or, like the ones were they are completely made out of string. It's all so very... fluffy? Touching, definitely.
