Description
A simple bracelet to flex my beading muscles after they have been lying dormant for 8 months. A few firsts with this one: first time using Fireline and first time trying brick stitch and I must say I quite like both.Pattern by Julie Olah from the April 2011 edition of Bead & Button.
The title is from a Zuni or Ashiwi legend about Kia, the beautiful daughter of a Chief, who falls in love with Hummingbird.

Thank you!
Originally I thought it was going to be too girly (the original pattern in the mag had really hideous colour combinations) but I think the red, turquoise and silver combo gives it some power.

You found the right measure.
It looks ancient and wise yet modern and strong.
