This took me days to do, and I am not satisfied with it
One major reason is that I drew this months ago so the anatomy is really bad 
But, if I was to re-draw her reference, I would of taken longer. Oh well, I am still working very hard on my manga drawings...I've been sketching and doodling like crazy. I think I'm seeing an improvement. I can at least draw the differences between a guy and a girl--and no, that doesn't mean drawing down there--it's actually much more than that (face shape, shoulder, arms, hands, etc). This was going to be a very plain reference, but after looking at many references, many of them were very nicely designed and it motivated me to add a little more to this. And yes, Akemi loves pandas, they're cute
Well, I'll be working on the rest of the references soon, while I am working on page 1. Thank you for taking the time to view this and/or comment

Your people are coming along great. You've improved much more then you realize. The only thing I see truly wrong is on the side view her posture seems strange(like she's leaning forward?) and her nose looks odd but that may be the type of anime(Shoja) your drawing(I'm used to Shonen which is a little more realistic while Shoja is more chibi styled)

I know... the side view is much harder than I thought. I still struggle a lot 
As for her nose, yeah, I go for the shoujo style. The only shonen anime/manga I ever liked was Pita-ten, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Full Metal Alchemist, Matantei Loki Ragnarok, Letter Bee, and so far, Clannad.

I understand. I actually have trouble with just about anything involving drawing humans or human like things. Especially side view.
LOL. I've only ever watched like two shouja animes(never read any manga) and it was really lame 4kids english dubs of Tokyo MewMew and Sailor Moon.
I did watch Pokemon. I'm not exactly sure what that is considered. Truly I prefer Shonen though. I like the action and such. Really, I only watch Naruto but sometimes I will watch some other stuff.

I hate dubs D: they ruin the anime completely. Take for example Card Captor Sakura...it's horrible
I am sure Pokemon is shonen, since the main character is a male and it's mostly about fighting and...sports?

Probably. The drawing style confused me though. It resembles shoja more then shonen.
LOL. I don't think pokemon battles are very... sporty. The trainer doesn't do much but over exaggerated hand motions when telling the pokemon to do something. However, capturing pokemon involves a alot of sport type things. It's like a demented, cruel scavenger hunt where when you think that maybe you've found all the pokemon and they add 200 more for you to find. lol.

I was never interested in Digimon or Dragonball. I did however watch Yugi-oh(Or however you spell it). I never could figure out how one second he was like 12 yrs old and then he suddenly was a grown up though.
Yes. They also cropped out when one character chocks another(even though he didn't even kill him) because it was "too violent" even though it left a "WTF" moment, like wait, what happened there? Random cutoff?
Yes, though I really like Yuri Lowenthal. He's epic. Plus he's amusing to watch in interviews(He and his wife, Tara Platt. They are hilarious)
