Barren is constantly trying to hint that to reform the clans, they need to revisit Starclan to receive the 9 lives. Yess, that’s right, the current leaders do NOT have 9 lives. They haven’t gotten 9 lives for many generations.
Leafstep was told a 6 toed Tom, with fur the color of fallen leaves buried in snow, would lead the clans to their new home.
And help them reconnect with their ancestors. Even if they don’t believe, just to know they are there.
Leafstep thinks that it’s the Kittypet, Aspen, is the chosen cat.
But it’s not.
The chosen cat is Mudpaw. As he is so deeply troubled by Leafstep’s death, he opened his heart, and was able to connect with Starclan once again.
He’s able to explain this feeling, and help teach the new leaders and medicine cats the same.

Now, what should Mudpaw’s Full name be?
I had his name as Mudleaf to honor Leafstep, but then I started thinking about Mudpuddle, after his brother who was a ‘BetterFit’ it sadly passed away.
What should his Medicine Cat’s Herb be?
