This is seemingly straight out of a coloured Gothic silent film never made; the doll-like Ann-Fairy-san does a wonderful job of getting a sense of lost innocence both in her gentle pose & contemplative expression, wise yet childlike.

Also how she is positioned within the delicate vines reflect a mastery of pictoral storytelling, it is as if they are slowly crowding and ready to entwine around her, the long thorns hiding a small dash of venom within the naive air. Charming yet disturbing, this is how Gothic stories should be told!
