Description
While working on my ever-expanding roster to The Crossover Game, I decided to make a fan roster for a potential PlayStation All-Stars roster. Looking at the original Smash Bros and PlayStation All-Stars, PS All-Stars had twice as many characters as the Nintendo 64 Smash Bros. Since the roster in Melee was a little more than double the original roster (going from 12 to 25), I wanted PlayStation's roster size to be more than twice that of Melee's (which would be a minimum of 50 characters) and at the same time, at least a little bit bigger than the roster in the most recent Super Smash Bros (which has a total of 55 characters if you include Mewtwo, Lucas, Roy, Ryu, and count the three versions of Mii Fighter as separate characters). Additionally, if every single character from Super Smash Bros returned, the roster would be at around 59 (counting Squirtle and Ivysaur separately), so I went with 59 characters, 54 Sony-owned characters and five third-party characters, three of which return from Battle Royale.
Anyway, after making the roster for PlayStation All-Stars 2, I decided to bring back my old idea of a PlayStation and Nintendo crossover. While some of my ideas return, such as hidden characters as alternate costumes, many of them have been altered a bit. This is evidence by the fact that some of my "hidden characters" are now on the roster in plain sight, namely a majority of the Smash Bros "clones" and some PlayStation characters that were hidden in the previous roster.
I'll give a brief summary of the Nintendo side of things.
Toon Link has been replaced by Young Link with a moveset centered around Majora's Mask. However, Toon Link still appears as a costume for Young Link.
Dr. Mario has been turned into a costume for Mario since his moveset would be customizable, enabling him to use Dr. Mario's attacks. Likewise, Pichu is also a costume for Pikachu, however, Roy, Lucina, Dark Pit, and Lucas are still separate characters from Marth, Pit, and Ness, respectively, especially since Roy's moveset has always been noticeably different from Marth's, like Wolf to Fox.
As with the new Super Smash Bros, Shiek and Zelda, as well as Samus and Zero Suit Samus, are now separate characters. However, Charizard and Greninja have been moved into the movesets of Pokemon Trainers Red and Serena, respectively. Additionally, Red and Serena would not be playable in the same manner as Pokemon Trainer from Brawl, but instead, will play more like Yugi Muto from Jump Superstars and Jump Ultimate Stars, where you will actually be able to control the trainer, and various Pokemon will be part of their moveset. Serena's alternate costumes include all playable female Pokemon Trainers, as well as Zinnia, and Red's costumes include all playable male Pokemon Trainers, as well as N.
Lucario and Mewtwo are once again separate characters. Honestly, I have no idea why they even shared a slot to begin with. Their movesets are nothing alike. Even Shadow Ball and Aura Sphere are completely different.

Anyway, onto the new roster:

Update (June 2015): Replaced Shadow the Hedgehog with Ryu from Street Fighter due to recent Smash Bros DLC. Updated Roy and Lucas to match their offical Smash Bros Wii U/3DS artwork. Also changed K. Rool's portrait to Smashified's take on him, and updated Young Link's portrait to a smashified version. Switched Sonic and Mega Man around.

Note: I will also be adding more characters to this roster, two of which are the Hunter (Bloodborne, PlayStation) and the Inklings (Splatoon, Nintendo). Once all DLC has been released for Smash Bros (since the Smash Ballot is still up and running, we can expect more DLC characters), I will add them to the roster, along with corresponding PlayStation characters, and the complete roster will be added in a new artwork submission.
