You placed this piece in the critique folder and insured me you indeed wanted it critiqued. I am a 3d artist as well as a photographer, those are my credentials. Whether or not I like a picture I will give my honest opinion. Since you are not a premium member this is a courtesy and unofficial
I will start by saying the picture is very pleasing and easy to look at. the sketch of the person is very realistic and uncartoonish. To me a picture must have shading to separate the shadows from the subjects. This does. What I see as wrong with the picture is your strokes. They are inconsistent, it goes oneway on the face, another on the shirt and several ways on the flag. Your shadows indicate you light is coming from the right side of your subject. (our left) and overhead. You did not carry through with your shadows. There should at least be a faint shadow of him on the flag. I say this because it looks like you attempted to put a shadow of the mike on the flag, If it isn't a shadow of the mic then I do not know what the darkness is. Also the shirt could have done without the stark white line in front and on the left shoulder. Though it is not necessary, a wrinkle in the flag would have helped, though as I said would have been a plus but not necessary
