Description This was my first paid portrait commission that was not from a relative!  I want to thank for her kindness and generosity, not only for wanting her friend who lost Tyson to have this, but for having me do it and then paying more than I asked.  is one of my favorite people I know, and I would have happily done this for free, but thank you so much for not only wanting my art and always supporting me, but for going beyond to help me financially so I can keep doing this!
I hope also this helps ease the loss of Tyson for Tyson's human parent to some degree.
Here is the reference I used:  Colored pencils, markers used as blenders and white gel pen for some highlights were used.

Now, that's a cool picture.

Also, I didn't know that markers could be used as blenders for color pencil art, but I'm still learning about how to make images 'pop out' in traditional art.

Thanks for sharing the commissioned work and, thanks for sharing an art tip. :°D

Yes, I like to use light colors usually so they don’t alter the color of the pencil work.
