Description
So, today I was bored and i decided to hold a design contest. The contest is to see who can design the best possible looking receiver to drop the bolt into.Theres my example, the SR-8c
Its simple enough, heres the bolt mechanism for the SR-8c and its up to YOU to design a receiver for this puppy. You can draw whatever you want over this bolt, go crazy! Only rules, aside from color, you can't actually modify the bolt in any way. Ill put all of the entries together to scale in a deviation here, you can enter as many times as you want. Ill post a pol so you guys can vote for the winner. No prize, just for fun and inspiration.
In each of the pictures, I posted the bolt 3 times, this is to show it in various positions and to generally help you, Only submit an image of one rifle per deviation please
Please do participate!
ENCLOSED IN THE DOWNLOAD YOU WILL FIND A ZIP FOLDER WITH THE BOLT IN DIFFERENT FILE FORMATS. USE THAT, AND NOT THE IMAGE USED HERE AS A PREVIEW

Desu!
I am joining, but I have a question:
Does the weapon have to be realistic?

Few questions to the extent of what were allowed to do.
First off Id love to submit multiple submissions But that would cause my submissions to be pitted against each other and reduce maximum amounts of votes to them.
So will there be multiple places 1st, 2nd , 3rd, Which a artist is allowed to take more then one winning.
2nd is you current bolt has no locking lugs on it - Now I wont add them since I feel that is additional modifications to it Which Id not wish to be disqualified for. Unless you otherwise excuses the addition of lugs as allowed.
3rd is the positioning of the bolt.
As shown in the top example , the bolt handle is Right next to the trigger.
Then on the under example The bolt is moved back a bit more.
So Im a bit stumped if that counts as editing ,Cuz you made the bolt longer to go with the stock & make the trigger location more reasonable.
Clarification please

yea the bolt you see was for a previous piece that shot a larger caliber, i just used the sr8c for an example, i didnt thank any one would notice so good eyes
and yes, you can, i didnt think to add lugs because i drew it so one could easily draw right over it, but you can add whatever you want on top of th bolt without modifiying the existing bolt itself, locking lugs are fine.

just so you know, I'm entering with a 3D model of this, and I felt you should know that your bolt to chamber dimensions are impossible. Your bolt body is was too thick, or your chamber is too small, so you're gonna have to do some tweaking on your end

I'll see if I can draw you a pic to help you understand how the bolt locks into battery.
