Description
Alright folks, I bring you another quality tutorial. You may be wondering how I could ever top my last tutorial, the Definitive Vector Guide, and I was wondering this as well. Thankfully, I think I have produced a work which will appeal to everybody on DeviantART. I learned these tricks showcased in this guide from studying actual submitted deviations. So, instead of thanking me, thank the community! Also be sure to thank #digitalmedia who highly suggested my involvement in the creation of this tutorial. You can find them on dAmn to discuss a wide range of digital media topics, including this tutorial.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.

I love how this brings out the thick ones.
I mean...I love your subtle use of lightning (as I have seen it written FAR too many times) and general awesome.
So much better then that rubbish vector one or whatever

Pure 's, right from the beginning. I fail to see how anyone could take any of it seriously

I love you. However, you commented on my personal profile picture a while back and now I have to wonder if you were mocking me!

Nope! Not at all. I actually thought you were very cute, if you wanted to know.

Oh, what! You are too sweet. Hey, maybe I can make it better by adding some lens flare. What do you think?
You couldn't have chosen a better source image for this, by the way.

I would suggest an ample amount of lens flare; you know, to make it really stand out from the crowd.
And the stock photo I used was a laborious result of a several hundred hour search. Perfection is hard to find, after all.

I also suggest the plastic wrap filter.

Haha.
I really liked the font of the word "PHOTO" in the title of the tutorial though. What is it?

It wasn't until I got to the part about the using the important (but hard) steps detailed in #3 that I realized that there was no way this could be serious. Though, maybe I should start using this so I can get a DD?? Thanks for the laugh

As a photographer, that probably would make you cringe. Sadly, some people took it seriously.

Oh man, I've written a tutorial myself a while back, but I feel so bad for misleading people about what makes a picture look good... I was trying to tell them stuff like masked curves, vignetting and healing, but I now see the true light.
I am so sorry for my ignorance.

What. I don't know how on earth this slipped me XD Then again, it was probably during that deletehappy stage I did when the deviations hit like 1,700.. BUT I WILL REMEDY THE SITUATION NOW. *Waves fist in furies*
How amusing XD It reminds me of when we were talking on Skype before and I mentioned how.. I don't really know all that much about what makes a photo great or not.. but hey, atleast there's an agreement when it comes to stuff like this ":-[" Lens flare needs to be stabbed in the faaaccceeee. Isn't lens flare meant to be a negative thing to have in pictures unless it's like.. an actual sun making that light in the sky? Then again, my inexperience is speaking XD No specialties in the ways of taking pictures!
Well-done with making the perfect stereotype, though.. I've seen so many of those photos where the lighting makes the person look positively pale and stuff "XD;" Yipes.. but I'm getting redundant here. ENJOY YOUR SATIRE. Although you coulda also covered the fact that having purely black and white drawings is artistic gold. As well as making the descriptions positively vague and ".." or something ":-[" That makes me whine each time I see it.
Blah blah blah.
