Can you enlighten me on what this "Inktober" thing is? I really want to know.

Inktober is a challenge created by an art professor named Jake Parker. The goal is to make one ink drawing every day in October. Each day has a different theme so it's really fun and challenging!

hello im coming from you have some pretty good things going on with this piece. im liking the shading around the hole it brings more emphasis to the girl. the face however is a little flat and i feel you need some more shading to add more dimension to the planes in her face. also a little more shade in the upper lip could help as well to indicate some shadow there. you could also add some more shading to the hair to make it look a little more rendered and finished, the eye look pretty good maybe tone down the highlights a bit, it tends to make it seem a bit glossy

not really. but you could scan it and manipulate it in photoshop. theres some nice ink brushes you could download from here on DA.

The cleanliness and Β good hatching/ shading had me take an instant liking to this drawing.
The anatomical features are well done, however, I would suggest you to look at the bangs carefully.
The shadows are done using simple vertical lines and are perfect.
The expression is very well captured.
All in all I like this pece. Well, done.

Woah I love how you shade! Using just lines really makes everything, especially the eyes, pop. It was a great idea to leave the white in there as it brings out the effect that it's not 2D. The proportions are well designed and I love her expression! She seems almost entranced, it's very well captured. Amazing job!Β
