Description
ENGLISHIf the fisher used artificial baits, he wouldn´t have this problem. hehe!
A random strip just for fun. Hope you like it!
PORTUGUÊS
Se o pescador usasse iscas artificiais, ele não teria esse problema. XD
Só uma tirinha aleatória pra gente se divertir. Bom, pelo menos eu me diverti.
Espero que gostem!

Have you ever considered making one of your titles an ongoing strip?
Recently Jay Katz CEO of InvestComics put me in charge of finding and recruiting new artists for a new section of web comics to be featured on the site. My own strip "Joseph!" will be launching there next month. Yay!
I'm free to recruit whom I want as long as the work is high quality and safe for work. Naturally, I thought of you! ... Interested?

Artificial or not, I think this is why every time my dad takes me fishing we fail to get a fish.

Sim, é claro que a minhoca está vendo o lado dela mas também é verdade o que pode ocorrer com o peixe...
Está demais!

That worm definitely has an ulterior motive for his explanation.

Yeah, isn't that something? The fish becomes our dinner, because he thought he was having dinner. One day karma's gonna hit us real bad!
Btw, I've always wondered. How do you do your inking?

What a terrible destiny to die with a hook in its throat while having dinner. hehehe!
I ink it digitally with Gimp image editor. It´s similar to Photoshop but it´s smaller and more simple. And it´s free. =]

Ah! Gimp! It's been a while since I checked out that program. Your stuff's so clean, I woulda assumed it was Flash/Illustrator, or just really wicked hand skills. Would you say you find Gimp's better for inking than Photoshop?

No, Photoshop and the others are way better for inking and color. But Gimp is a small program so you can download it in few minutes. Although it has some bugs, it´s a good program for simple inks and colors, just like what I do. Also it´s for free.
Sometimes I ink with nankim pens too, with a very similar result. My older drawings were inked by hand. Check out the Rogue fanart in my gallery, it was inked with nankim pen.
Thank you so much for your comment my friend! =]

Thanks for the replies! I actually have the CS2 suite and a few other programs, but I still find inking on the computer to be way more tedious than just working by hand. I just wish there was a smooth tool, an undo button, and a super opaque eraser while jamming on paper.

So THAT'S why I never caught anything when I went fishing as a kid?
Good one!
