Description
If there are many incarnations of Link in the Zelda series timeline, how about a modern version on a future Hyrule? He has a hookshot pistol, some time bombs, an eletric boomerang and changed the sword for a metal staff. It was a lot of fun to me doing it and I hope you enjoy as much
I tryed a different coloring technique that IΒ΄m not very confortable yet, shading a unique layer in greyscale and aplying other color layers with multiply.

nice work...one question though: did you use "The Anger" from Brink as a basis for this picture ( or the pose) ? Because it looks a LOT like that...no offence...just pointing it out ^^""

Well, I donΒ΄t even know what youΒ΄re talking about, so the answer is no, I didnΒ΄t.

Actually, this pretty much works for him. Link is, upon reflection, very hi-tech given his surroundings, so a modern version would also be pretty hi-tech. That said, I think the sword would have worked better than the staff. That is all, really.

This is a very sweet twist on Link.
I love his outfit in general screams awesome... He's got a kickass look about him.
Weapons are sleek, stylish, and awesome. Definitely a cool picture.

MasterSword should have stayed the MS, maybe a bit more streamlined so it wasn't as bulky...but a staff?

In the begining of the game we think that Link is a human,Zelda is just a legend and magic does not exist. But further in the game Link finds a magic sword, the Master Sword, and finds out that he has the legendary race Hylian blood and all the legends were true.

I like the concept and how you change the items into modern objects.
Maybe someday we'll see this Link in the Zelda games...? ^_^

Wow link, you must tell me where you got your cool gadgets. I like the glowy triforce hoodie

All the gadgets were stolen from vaults hidden in dungeon-skycrappers scattered throughout Hyrule.

Nice design! I've always thought there should be a modern Link and I wondered how he could look ^^

Glad you liked it. I think that Link has so many strong characteristics that we can make a lot of versions and redesigns that they will be allways easily identified as Link.

No problem!
Yeah that's true. I like the idea of a modern Zelda in general but then I think of modern technologies and wonder how they'd work together... In my eyes not very well :/
But character designs are all well and good ^^

I was thinking that too. It would be quite a twist for LoZ, but with such a narrow line between failure and success. @w@
Ah well. This design is great, however. =3

Well, actually I donΒ΄t think this could really be a game, I did it just for fun and as an exercise. But, who knows... lol
